Terms of Service

1. What MailFlows is

MailFlows lets you connect your own Gmail account to find, verify, and email business contacts from one dashboard. You remain the sender of record for every email you send — MailFlows never sends on your behalf without your explicit action (clicking Send, starting a campaign, etc.), and every email goes out through your own connected Gmail account, not a MailFlows-owned address.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials secure.
• You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• You must be legally able to enter into these Terms — if you're using MailFlows on behalf of a company, you're confirming you have authority to do so.

3. Acceptable use — please read this one

MailFlows is a tool for legitimate business outreach, not for spam. You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Send unsolicited bulk email to people who haven't consented to be contacted, or who have opted out
• Send content that's fraudulent, deceptive, or violates applicable anti-spam law, including Nigeria's NDPR and the US CAN-SPAM Act where relevant to your recipients
• Harvest or scrape email addresses in ways that violate a website's terms of service or applicable law
• Send malware, phishing attempts, or any illegal content
• Impersonate another person or organization, or falsify sender information
• Use the Service in any way that violates Google's API Services User Data Policy or Gmail's own sending policies

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, without refund, if the violation is serious or repeated.

4. Plans, billing, and payment

• Free, Personal, and Corporate plans are available, with limits described on the Plan & Billing page at the time of purchase.
• Paid plans are billed monthly via Paystack. By subscribing, you authorize MailFlows to charge your payment method for recurring renewals, where a valid payment method is on file.
• If a renewal payment fails, we'll attempt to charge your card again over a short grace period. If it still doesn't succeed, your account automatically moves to the Free plan — you won't be charged further, and you won't lose access entirely, just the paid-plan features.
• You can downgrade or cancel a paid plan at any time from Plan & Billing. You keep your current plan's features until the end of the period you already paid for — downgrading doesn't forfeit time you've already paid for.
• Scraper and verification credit top-ups are one-time purchases and don't expire, but are non-refundable once used.
• All fees are exclusive of any taxes that may apply in your jurisdiction.

5. Refunds

Subscription payments are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or at our discretion (for example, a clear billing error on our part). Contact support if you believe you were charged incorrectly.

6. Deliverability and third-party services

MailFlows depends on third-party services we don't control — Google/Gmail, Paystack, Supabase, Cloudflare, and email verification providers among others. We don't guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service, guaranteed email deliverability, or that any of these third parties will remain available or unchanged. We're not responsible for outages, policy changes, or account actions taken by these third parties, including Google suspending or restricting your own Gmail account.

7. Your data and content

You retain ownership of the contacts, campaign content, and other data you upload or create using MailFlows. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle and store it. You're responsible for having a lawful basis to contact the people in your contact lists.

8. Termination

You can stop using MailFlows and request account deletion at any time via Support. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or pose a security risk to the Service or other users, with or without notice depending on severity.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is." We don't warrant that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose beyond what's described here. As an early-stage product, features and pricing may change as MailFlows develops.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MailFlows and its operator aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost business, lost data, or third-party account actions (such as Google suspending your Gmail account). Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page, and where appropriate, communicated directly.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
